It has proven useful! UV LED can kill 99.9% of coronaviruses in 30 seconds


Seoul Viosys and SETi announced that Vio LEDs UV LED technology successfully killed 99.9% of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) within 30 seconds.
 
According to the news, the research team of Seoul Viosys and Korea University (Korea University) used the Violeds compound semiconductor technology in mass production for testing.
 
This study uses Violeds technology to demonstrate the strong sterilization effect of Violeds UV LED light source irradiated with the new coronavirus for 30 seconds. The study also found that if the coronavirus is placed closer to the light source and the irradiation time is extended, the sterilization effect will be stronger. In addition to testing the coronavirus, the research team also proved that the Violeds technology can kill 99.9% of harmful bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Salmonella typhimurium.
